Hi, I'm Jeff — also known as OneWheelGeek. Code, wood, unicycles, and self-hosting. This is my capsule: a small, quiet corner of the internet served from one little Go server.
What I'm thinking about (as of 2026-07-28)
Too much going on lately, which is a *probably* good problem.
- Left a large company for a tiny one earlier this year. Having a blast.
- Finally building the tools I've had in my head for years and never had time for.
- First iOS app in a long time, nearly out the door — photo backup, encrypted on-device, into an S3 bucket you own.
- Camperizing the Forester. Food, water, clean shirt, go.
- New 27.5" Mad4One muni. Cramming in rides between smoke days and rain days.
- Back on Gemini, and on a self-hosted GoToSocial. Actually paying attention to both again.
- There's a puppy now. She's the best.
